Marc Rosen, M.D.

    “Originally from Cincinnati, Dr. Rosen attended Ohio State University, where he majored in English. He returned to Cincinnati to continue his education at the University Of Cincinnati College Of Medicine, followed by postgraduate training as an intern and resident at the University of Cincinnati Medical Center Hospitals. He pursued additional training in adult reconstructive surgery and joint replacement surgery at New England Baptist Hospital in Boston. Today, Dr. Rosen’s practice is limited to adult reconstructive surgery, and hip and knee replacement surgery. Practicing in the west Phoenix/Glendale area for more than 30 years, he served as chief of surgery and chief of staff at Banner Thunderbird Medical Center. Dr. Rosen also served as president of the Maricopa County Medical Society in 2005 and president of the Arizona Orthopaedic Society from 2005 until 2007. Dr. Rosen remains active in professional and medical administrative affairs and has authored many publications on medical policy and health care. He has been recognized as a “Top Doc” on many occasions in both local and national publications. He is a fellow in the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgery, American Orthopaedic Association, and American Academy of Hip and Knee Surgeons. For six years he represented Arizona on the Board of Councilors of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons. In addition to his clinical practice, Dr. Rosen is a nationally recognized speaker on blood conservation in orthopaedic surgery, as well as the prevention of venous thrombosis. He also has experience as an adviser to the legal profession and the orthopaedic device industry. His expertise of more than three decades in orthopaedic surgery has allowed him to participate in the technological development of modern joint replacement surgery.”
